Creative Expressions In Fine Art
RobertNagyFineArt6 was created 2018 in response to increased inquiry about my fine art offerings both as commissioned works and original creations. My beginnings as a free lance fine artist really took root 35 years ago in New Jersey though I now reside in the Lehigh Valley. Here on my website you will see many examples that cover both classical and modern art works. As an artist I like to explore creativity in both contemporary classical elements and modern works in the mediums of oil painting and graphite drawings. My subject matter is taken from personal experiences that relate to all humankind, places of interest, events, commissioned portraits and nature's colorful expressions. If I had to identify with artists that have inspired me certainly John Singer Sargent, Edward Hopper, Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet and Emilio Serio would be my choices for varied reasons.
The RobertNagyFineArt6wix.com site provides information about upcoming shows, exhibitions, images of past projects, as well as information about my artistic journey and current offerings. Come visit and learn more about my art. Browse my works on the site and inquire about commissions that may be of interest to you for something special, unique and original.
*** Recently my portrait of " Actress Lucy Liu" 16 x 20 Oil on archival canvas board was on display in September 2019 at the Baum School of Art in conjunction with the Morning's Call 13th Annual Juried Exhibition. This is an example of a classical oil portrait than could be commissioned for someone special to you.
Under the heading of Projects you will find additional information with regard to commissioned portraits. Further exploring the "Collection pages and More" headings there are a number of works that I have completed as primary examples of my work. Some of theses paintings were completed from photographic reference and others from my personal interaction either requested by clients or of my own inspiration. However, it should be noted that I take artistic licence to create works in a painterly fashion as I interpret the subject matter and not exact duplicates of photos as might be the case.
In addition, specific requests for commissioned works are always fully discussed with clients before proceeding. Commissioned works can be of any subject matter. A $100 deposit is required before beginning any commissioned work. Payment is due for the balance including shipping and handling charges upon your receipt of the finished work. At this time I only accept payment in the form of check or money order. Browse my site and forward any questions to my email address that you may have. Thank You.
An Artistic Journey
Every artist strives to achieve a personal sense of style. Ten artists can paint the same subject matter and each painting will look different. I believe and channel my creative urges in order to produce unique pieces of artwork. My inspiration for my work is the miracle of life and my works are one of a kind originals.
RobertNagyFineArt6 is born out of a combination of my education, training and experience which allows my perspective as an artist to remain traditional, contemporary and yet expands also into the realm of modern figurative and portrait art. My Art represents a colorist approach and offer new ways of viewing the world. I don't simply copy what I see but interpret it into what I want to see in bold expression of color, light and form.
I presently reside and create my studio art in Bethlehem PA. My inspiration comes from life and my travels. In the course of 35 years I have produced and sold many works of art. I accept commissioned works of art in all subject matter including classical portraits, minimal portraits, landscape, seascape, still life and modern figurative representations. Oil painting is my choice of media. Though I do create drawings as finished works and not merely studies.
Because I work independently it gives me greater flexibility to choose the next subject for creative expression. If you visit the collection pages you will see an example of my works are that were sold or commissioned in the past. Some are currently for sale. Of course, as stated previously, I do accept commissions by request for something other than the portraits. Perhaps you have a favorite pet, place, event or still life you would like a s an original work. Email me with any specific requests and we can discuss possibilities. As a rule oil paintings are either produced on canvas or primed masonite (Gesso Board Museum Quality). Handling and shipment costs vary with each work and is added to the cost of the work.
